ADOPT Funding Opportunity

🚜 Are you trialling a new farming method, technology, or process? 🔧 

The ADOPT fund is supporting farmer-led projects that aim to find practical solutions to immediate on-farm productivity challenges.

The ADOPT fund focuses on smaller-scale R&D projects, which trial and demonstrate innovative solutions to benefit business resilience, sustainability and reduce the impact of climate change.

Carbon Focus Engineering is an approved industry organisation registered with FarmPEP. This means that CFE can support your engineering needs during your project, if you are a farmer applying for the ADOPT fund.

To be eligible, projects must:

✅ Cost between £50,000 - £100,000 (this is how much the fund covers)

✅ Have a duration of 6 to 24 months, starting by 1 November 2025

✅ Promote collaboration and be open to knowledge-sharing across the sector

Round 1 of the Full ADOPT fund applications end on 25 June 2025, but Round 2 opens on 26 June 2025.

CFE is open to collaborate with:

- Poultry farmers with heat demands in sheds and manure disposal issues

- Growers and processes with waste crop residues and associated gate fees for waste disposal, interested in pyrolysis of waste and/or biochar use in their crops

- Livestock farmers with heat demand interested in heat recovery data production 

- Agroforestry producers with waste
